Ask Jesus to penetrate his light into it) and after reciting the mystery you will see something has transform some areas in your body. The portion I found most helpful is the one regarding 'The Rosary, a Contemplative Prayer' for without this dimension/contemplation, the rosary is a body without a soul and its recitations runs the risk of becoming a mechanical repetition of formulas and the process becomes meaningless. 2. In the Mysteries of Light I learned alot in that upon my baptism, the Holy Spirit descended upon me and the Father in heaven said, "This is my beloved child with whom I am well pleased". Blessed Mother Mary helps me also to do whatever her Son tells me to do so that the Father's goodness will change me and hence change the world in which I live. I have learned to ask Jesus to enable me understand the truth and also help me to say 'YES' to the Good News and 'NO' to sin. Lastly I learned to ask the Holy Spirit to transform the areas in my life that are still in darkness and to trasform my life to become more like Jesus' life while I humble myself in the service to others. The core of the Mysteries of Light concrning Jesus' life is to 'Do whatever he tells me' so that I can be transformed for the service of others. 1. I have learned of His divine and supreme action in breaking the bread in pieces and giving it to the others and saying *This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me*. I find that these words are the most meaningful and beautiful for mankind and especially for people of God who is waiting for the coming of a Saviour who could save and change their lives. When i pray to this mystery, I always feel having a source of health infuse in my heart, i feel good and I know that the Blessed Mother Mary has heard my prayers, and she or Jesus Christ is nourishing my soul and body from thirsty and hungry, and this sort of feelings encourage me to pray more fervent and regular. I love the words, "Do whatever He tells you." I think of them often, and try to imitate the wedding servers by obeying Christ. The wedding of Cana also makes me know that Jesus truly cares about the small details of my life...like being a middle aged woman with thinning hair....and I can offer it up to God and He cares. I have asked that he place it in my husband's heart that he is ok with a balding wife. I want to be attractive to him! The luminious mysteries relate to my life in that much like lettyab’s. I so want to be a saint, and I see how very far I am from living the life of a saint. But I can become more saint-like by spending more time with Mary and Jesus. Look our Saints...here I come! I always pray to her to intercede for me when I am praying for something and she has always helped me. I am grateful for Mary's gentle guidance in my life. It seems she is always there leading me to her Son. The Luminous Mystery that relates to my life experiences is the Wedding at Cana. Here she was, in her gentle manner,speaking to the wine stewards and saying simply :"Do whater He tells You." She was not demanding to Jesus, but knew in her heart that He would solve the problem. These are the words that I live by. "Do whatever He tells you" I have learned to be silent and listen for Jesus' guidance in my life. I have learned to let go and trust Him. Being on the Faith Formation Team at my Parish is very demanding and sometimes frustrating. I have in my mind and my soul many ideas to evangelize people, but have learned to step back and wait to hear Jesus' message to me in hope that I may be like Mary and gently guide people back to the Church. This is where I am lacking in the recitation of the Rosary. I was simply saying prayers. Now, since doing this assignment, I have learned to let my mind focus on the Mysteries and it has changed many things in my life. The portion that I found most helpful was the portion regarding contemplative prayer.
