AS i can say, i have learn something from this mystery, if i compare what am going through and that of Jesus, then i should say this mystery in the way that Christ Jesus and her mother will help me to overcome my problems. I now know how powerful the rosary is, to pray rosary is to handover my burden to the merciful heart of Christ and his mother, the rosary help us to conformed ever more closely Christ, until we attain true holiness.

I have been touched with how powerful praying the rosary is in that by praying the rosaryiam handing over my burdens to the merciful heart of christ and his Mother.ishould also learn to listen in the spirit as Peter did in THE fATHERS voice to be able to notice christ in my midst and listen to his voice

1. To me, I was touched by “To pray the Rosary is to hand over our burdens to the merciful hearts of Christ and his Mother.” This is because the mysteries of the Rosary help us to realize that Jesus understands what we are going through as part of a true human living and our suffering is is harmoniously joined to the life of Christ. This has taught me that holiness without suffering is just a dream. (Compare with Good News Course on SALVIFICI DOLORIS).

2. In praying the Sorroful Mysteries, I now can unite my own sufferind to that of Christ for the redemptive value of my suffering. I also learned that there is no Easter Sunday without Good Friday, just as there is no gain without pain. After pain comes consolation. To me suffering is the vigil of victory and from this suffering comes joy. Persevere in your suffering and the result is happiness for perseverence is a tree with a sour taste but its fruits are very delicious. We humanity have only two alternatives, to be for Christ OR against him. Being for Christ doesn’t imply being free from mockery. Jesus himself was abused overwhelmingly. He was called all names: a fool(Lk2:46-47); the possessed(Jn10:20); A glutton and drunkard(Lk7:34); A wizard(Mt9:34); a criminal(Jn 18:29-30) a false prophet(Lk22:64) etc.
When sorrows come your way accept and to accept sorrows in calmness helps one to meditate them
In all this I pray that we learn to pray with humility, confidence and perseverence; to ask for virtue of purity of mind and heart; to be patience in our trials and to love the Holy Mass which perpetuates the sacrifice of Calvary.

To me, I find that all sorrowful mysteries on the rosary are helpful and important because it raised up the terrible painful and grives that our Lord Jesus Christ has been suffered, and the reason I am saying this is because these mysteries relate to my own personal experiences very much, and that I also have been coped and suffered a lot of unjustice treatment in my life, I also used to be scourged and beaten even I am a victime of sexual assaulted while i am an innocent and pure soul, I often wonder what fault do I commit? and why do i have to suffer such horrible insulted in my life at very young age just 18 years old. Praying tese mysteries, I have deeply sympathized and understood more for the Jesus Christ’s sufferings and i feel my heart get comforted a bit and the sorrowful gets lighter than before.

The sorrowful mysteries help me to unite my own sufferings to Christs for redemptive value to my own sufferings. This helps me to bear them more patiently, and to see that they are not just wasted and suffered for ntohing.

I liked best in this section the advice to seek silence, for there with prayer offers the proper setting for th egrowth and development of a true, faithful and consistent knowledge of that mystery. I will implement this into my prayer time for more growth.

Lesson 3 Question #2. How the Sorrowful Mysteries relate to my own life

I have spent a great deal of time trying to answer this question. How are the Sorrowful Mysteries reflected in my daily life? Suddenly, as I was meditating on Jesus’ suffering I realized that we all suffer in one way or another. God showed me that I am carrying a cross which I wasn’t really aware of. As I pictured Jesus in the first Sorrowful Mystery (The Agony in the Garden) I gained strength from Him. At last I can bring my burdens to Mary and Jesus as I pray the Rosary. I feel a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Living the Passion with Christ
This has been the most difficult portion of my studies on the Rosary. I read this portion of the Pope’s letter on the Rosary several times. Finally, I came to the answer of what I found most helpful.

The Pope described the Rosary as his favorite prayer and repeatedly stated his idea of: “the simple prayer of the Rosary marks the rhythm of human life.” I had difficulty understanding this statement, until Terry Modica clarified it for me. At last my mind opened up to the meaning of the Pope’s statement.

The “rhythm of human life” are the daily activities that we do. As we pray the Rosary and meditate on the mysteries, we can connect our own life to the life of Jesus or Mary and the situation that each mystery of the Rosary protrays.

At last I can connect my life to the life of Jesus as I recite the Rosary.
